Higgins Butchers Christmas Online Ordering – Terms & Conditions

Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before placing your Christmas order with Higgins Butchers. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

1. Orders & Deposits

A deposit (or otherwise specified) is required for all Christmas orders placed online with the balance of due on collection or prior to delivery of the order.

Deposits are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.

Orders must be reviewed by the customer before confirming. Higgins Butchers accepts no responsibility for errors once the order has been placed.

Orders cannot be changed after 14th December 2025.

2. Weights, Pricing & Balances

All fresh meat products are hand-butchered and prepared individually. As such, weights may vary to that of the actual order. Orders will be fulfilled to the nearest available weight.

For items priced per kilogram, the final price will be confirmed once the product is weighed.

Any outstanding balance is payable in full upon collection or delivery. Higgins Butchers reserves the right to withhold goods until payment is completed.

3. Collection & Delivery

Collection Dates: All Christmas orders can be collected on 23rd and 24th December 2025 during shop opening hours ( Please note that we will close at 12pm Sharp on the 24th )

Delivery Service: Delivery is available on selected dates and times, subject to availability. Delivery slots cannot be guaranteed and will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Customers must ensure that someone is available to receive the order at the delivery address. Higgins Butchers accepts no responsibility for missed deliveries.

4. Opening Hours

Christmas collection will take place strictly within Higgins Butchers’ opening hours, as published on our website and social media channels.

Customers are advised to arrive in good time as queues are expected.

5. Storage & Food Safety

All products supplied are fresh and natural. Customers are responsible for ensuring proper storage and handling after collection/delivery.

Meat must be refrigerated immediately upon receipt at or below 5°C.

Higgins Butchers accepts no liability for products once they have been collected or delivered.

6. Substitutions & Availability

In the unlikely event of supply issues, Higgins Butchers reserves the right to substitute a product of equal or higher quality/value where possible.

If a substitution is not available, the deposit on that product will be refunded.

7. Liability

Higgins Butchers shall not be held responsible for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including (but not limited to) supplier shortages, extreme weather, transport disruptions, or power outages.

Higgins Butchers’ liability shall not exceed the value of the order placed.

8. Agreement

By placing a Christmas order with Higgins Butchers, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
